Celebration of Taste & Discovery: 1st Gastronomy Festival with Lesvos Treasures

In the heart of Agiasos, where tradition meets flavor, the “Garden of Panagia” is filled with aromas, music, and stories from the Mytilenean cuisine.

On Friday, July 18, 2025, the 1st Lesvian Festival of Traditional Mytilenean Gastronomy will be inaugurated, featuring two iconic dishes: Agiasos-style ptaria (meatless fritters) and giaprakia (vine leaves stuffed with rice).

The evening includes live music, a tasting competition with audience participation, and concludes with an authentic Agiasos-style celebration full of dance, song, and wine.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to support the Mytilene Nursing Home.

The culinary experience is curated by Chef Fotis Karsiotis from Mythical Coast Wellness Retreat, in collaboration with local associations and under the auspices of the Municipality of Mytilene.

The Garden of Panagia consistently supports initiatives that strengthen the local community, highlight tradition, and cultivate the cultural heritage of Lesvos.

Lesvos Treasures will proudly be there, supporting the event and inviting both young and old to explore the region’s gastronomy and cultural soul in a… different way!
